Shredded beef tacos

 

 

Ingredients:

 

For the meat:

3 lbs tri tip roast

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon thyme dried

1/2 teaspoon rosemary dried

3 garlic cloves minced

2 cups beef broth

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

 

For the tacos:

Corn tortillas

Pico de Gallo

Guacamole

Shredded cheese

Shredded lettuce

Refried beans

 

 

Instructions:

 

 

  1. Combine salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, garlic and rub on meat.
  2. Place meat in slow cooker and add broth and Worcestershire sauce on the side, careful to not wash off seasonings
  3. Cook on low for 7-8 hrs until meat pulls apart with fork
  4. Shred meat and save the liquid for future use! It’s full of nutrients.
  5. Serve on warmed tortillas with toppings of your liking. Enjoy!
