Shredded beef tacos
Ingredients:
For the meat:
3 lbs tri tip roast
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon thyme dried
1/2 teaspoon rosemary dried
3 garlic cloves minced
2 cups beef broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
For the tacos:
Corn tortillas
Pico de Gallo
Guacamole
Shredded cheese
Shredded lettuce
Refried beans
Instructions:
- Combine salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, garlic and rub on meat.
- Place meat in slow cooker and add broth and Worcestershire sauce on the side, careful to not wash off seasonings
- Cook on low for 7-8 hrs until meat pulls apart with fork
- Shred meat and save the liquid for future use! It’s full of nutrients.
- Serve on warmed tortillas with toppings of your liking. Enjoy!
